Franklin College has announced its dean's list for the spring 2014 semester. Students named to the dean's list have achieved academic distinction by earning a 3.5 grade point average or above.

The following local students have been named to the list:

BRODY PERRINE, son of Mike Perrine and Cheen Zimmerman of Roachdale.

CODY WARREN, son of Ronald Warren and Tricia Warren, both of Reelsville.

Founded in 1834, Franklin College is a residential, liberal arts institution with a scenic, wooded campus located 20 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis, spanning 207 acres, including athletic fields and a 31-acre biology woodland.

MARISSA PARENT, from Bainbridge, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering honors list for the 2014 Spring Quarter.

Parent is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.

 Undergraduate students on the Honors List have earned a GPA of at least 3.20 (out of 4.0) for this quarter and are not on the dean's list.



Milwaukee School of Engineering is an independent, non-profit university with about 2,600 students that was founded in 1903. MSOE offers bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering, business, mathematics and nursing.
