The Putnam County Swim Team, completing its first year as a USA Swimming certified swim club, has many reasons to celebrate.

Eighty-three swimmers registered and swam in the summer season, increasing significantly from the 43 registered in the inaugural 2013 fall season. Of these 83 swimmers, 20 will compete at championship meets throughout central Indiana (Senior State, Age Group State, and Divisional).

Personal best times were achieved by many swimmers throughout the season, while learning about sportsmanship and team commitment were gained by all.

Upcoming events for the team include: August 2 - Timing for Funds fundraiser; August 8 Celebration; September 15-Fall season begins; October 4--Lap-a-Thon fundraiser.
