Junior tennis tourney hosted by Greencastle Civic League

The Greencastle Civic League held its fourth annual tennis tournament for kids in Putnam County on Saturday, July 12 at DePauw University outdoor tennis courts. Kids between the ages of four and 10 were having fun and competing in tennis matches.

Every dollar raised from the tournament goes directly toward the Civic League's Splash Park project. In the six-and-under age group, Connor Sullivan took first place and Ben Zellers was runner-up.

Other six-and-under participants Reagan Labhart, Alyssa Pingleton, Elyse Ensley, and Stewart Masten.

In the eight-and-under age group, Sophia Riggle took first place and Danica Wiseman was runner-up.

In the t10-and-under age group, Boyd Ensley took first place and Dunkin York was runner-up.

Other 10-and-under participants were Anna Zellers and Logan Murray.
