When Life Gives You Lemons

Friday, July 18, 2014
Guided by a thirst to make a difference and the childlike desire to start a lemonade stand, the four daughters of Scott and Kim Curran will be doing something a little different in Bainbridge over the coming weekends. Cayman, Opry, Josie and Pippa Curran will be selling lemonade in front of their Bainbridge home from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on July 19 and 26 and Aug. 2. Rather than pocketing the money, the girls will be raising funds for Little Angels Service Dogs and the Williams Syndrome Association. "They've wanted to do a lemonade stand. We wanted to do something for someone else and it all came together," Kim said. And so Scott set to work building the stand, and now the girls are in business, or will be come Saturday morning. "We wanted to take a few Saturdays to do what we can," Kim said. The Currans reside at 301 N. Washington St., Bainbridge. (Courtesy photo)
