The Putnam County Airport Authority Board recently celebrated the facility's renaming as the Putnam County Regional Airport with a ribbon cutting. Present for the ceremony were (from left) Chamber of Commerce President Bret Hurley, board member Vern Bothwell Jr., board secretary Bonnie Hanlon, treasurer Rex Eaton, president J.R. Scott, board member Duane Skoog, vice president Perry Wainman, board member Jim Spore, airport manager Doug Miller, Bill Dory of Greencastle-Putnam County Economic Development and Jason Clearwaters of BF&S Engineering.

  • So they changed the name. Big deal. Why not report what this really means? Like the ability to raise our taxes...
