County Jail

Three people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

*At 1:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Jeffrey Allen Stover, 38, Indianapolis, was arrested for failure to appear and possession of marijuana.

At 9:30 p.m., Daniel Dale Frazier III, 21, Greencastle, was arrested for possession of methamphetamines.

* At 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Kevin Alexander Faucett, 20, Cloverdale, was arrested for domestic battery.

City Police

Two recent property-damage accidents were investigated by Greencastle City Police officers.

*At 12:33 p.m. Wednesday, a two-vehicle mishap was reported on Keightly Road near Cemetery Road on the city's south side.

Office Albert Epple reported that David Rexroat, 21, Cloverdale, was westbound, driving a 2000 Ford F-250 pickup truck when he stopped the vehicle in the roadway while looking for the entrance to Omni Source.

Christopher Edwards, 26, Carbon, was traveling behind Rexroat in a 2004 GMC Envoy when the Rexroat truck began backing up and backed into the Edwards vehicle, police said.

Total damage was estimated at $5,000-$10,000.

*At 2:40 p.m. Sunday, a minor mishap was reported on the Greencastle McDonald's lot.

Wendy Westfall, 34, Greencastle, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado in the drive-through lane when she got out of the truck to adjust a child restraint seat, Sgt. Terry Eastham reported.

Derek Weaver, 21, Cloverdale, was behind the Westfall vehicle in a 2008 Kia when he tried to go around her vehicle and re-enter the drive-through line, only to collide with the truck as Westfall pulled forward.

Total damage in the accident was listed at $2,500-$5,000.
