Karen Jean Whitaker Shrewsbury

Karen Jean Whitaker Shrewsbury, 49, Plainfield, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born March 5, 1965, the daughter of parents Shirley Stratton and George Leslie Whitaker.

Karen was a graduate of Plainfield High School and was a homemaker.

Karen is survived by her husband Bill, daughter McKenzie, son Jacob, mother Shirley Stratton, three sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Her father preceded her in death.

The visitation and short service will take place at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, 339 E. Main St., Plainfield on Monday, Aug. 11 from 4-7 p.m.
