Lola F. Mangus

Lola F. Mangus, 81, of Bedford, formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014.

Born Jan. 30, 1933 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Clyde and Sarah (Lancaster) Standley.

She married Arthur Mangus on Aug. 30, 1950, and he preceded her in death.

Lola was a homemaker and a member of the Long Branch Church of Christ.

She enjoyed being outside and working with her flowers.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Amber (Joe) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Josh, Bree and Madie Taylor, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, a son, Steven Mangus, and her parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
