SWCD and NRCS to host discussion on resource concerns

In an effort to utilize financial and technical resources in the best way possible the Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Natural Resources Conservation Service are planning a public forum on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. at the USDA Service Center in Greencastle.

The organizations are looking at consolidating their efforts to collect information from Putnam County residents on what resource concerns they have, issues that may need to be addressed and areas that could be improved or enhanced.

Anyone who cannot attend the meeting but would like to participate may stop by the office and pick up material to complete prior to the meeting.

To ensure that there is enough meeting materials, RSVP by Monday, Aug. 18 by calling 653-5716, ext. 3 for a reservation. Light refreshments will be served and the meeting will conclude by

7:15 p.m.

The USDA Service Center is located at 1007 Mill Pond Lane, Suite C.
