Eddy-Lynn's Shrimp Harvest to begin Saturday

Labor Day weekend means it's time for Eddy-Lynn's eighth-annual Shrimp Harvest, which is set to begin Saturday morning and run all holiday weekend long.

The event will be open daily starting at 10 a.m. Saturday through Monday with the public being able watch the shrimp being harvested on Saturday and Sunday at noon.

Due to the high demand of previous years, Eddy-Lynn's also added an additional pond for harvest.

Food items such as fried shrimp, shrimp gumbo, corn on the cob and more being served all weekend long. The community is also able to purchase pond side shrimp for a cost of $12 per pound. Participants will be served all weekend long and participants are invited to bring their lawn chairs and coolers to the family fun event.

Eddy-Lynn's Shrimp Farm is located at 446 S. County Road 900 E. in Coatesville.
