Practice to begin Oct. 1 for annual Christmas cantata

The annual community Christmas cantata choir will begin practices on Wednesday evening, Oct. 1.

The choir will be rehearsing the cantata "Christmas Canticles" by Benjamin Harlan. Practice will begin at 7:40 p.m. at the Greencastle Presbyterian Church.

There will be two performances, Saturday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church and Sunday, Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Greencastle Presbyterian Church.

Director of music and accompanist for the annual cantata is Cheryl Beck. Anna Gatdula is the choir director.
