Finger Lickin' Good

Friday, September 19, 2014

It was the perfect weather for the 55th Annual Fillmore Fireman's Chicken Barbecue on Friday evening as hundreds of people showed up for not only the food, but for the live music by Cowboy Casanova. Fillmore Volunteer Fire Department Capt. Darrell Bunten (left) receives some help from James Boles, the son of Fillmore firefighter James Boles Sr., during the event to keep up with the high demand. The event continues today beginning at noon. All proceeds from the chicken barbeque will go toward the construction of a new firehouse.
