Area 30 culinary students' first Ivy Gallery Oct. 1

It's time for the students' first Ivy Gallery luncheon of the 2014-15 school year, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Ivy Gallery is a student-operated dining room for the Area 30 Culinary Art Program.

Seating begins at noon.

Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling 653-3515 or emailing mbirt@area30.k12.in.us for an RSVP or to see what the menu is for the day.

Cost is $10 for a three-course meal and accompanying beverage.

Ivy Gallery is located in the Area 30 Carer Center (in the old IBM building) on the north side of Indianapolis Road on Greencastle's East Side.

"The students are working on a wonderful meal for their guests," instructor Mary Anne Birt said.

The Area 30 culinary program teaches students real-life work skills in the culinary and hospitality career field.
