South Putnam High School will host an NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28.

Friday, September 26, 2014

Boys and girls ages 6-15 are eligible to compete with the potential to advance to the next round, with the state finalists competing at an Indianapolis Colts game. National finalists will then showcase their skill at an NFL playoff game early 2015.

This free competition has so much opportunity tied to it that it's just too good to miss out on.

NFLppk.com describes this experience as follows, "NFL PP&K, the oldest grassroots initiative at the NFL, continues to reach children ages 6-15 and allows them to experience the fun of learning football fundamentals in an engaging and supportive non-contact environment."

The release form can be found at http://www.nflppk.com/resources/resources/index/downloads. Participants are encouraged to bring this form with them on Sunday, already filled out.

Ages will also have to be verified to advance onto the next level, so keeping the child's birth certificate on hand is a very good idea.
