New Maysville Community Church to host second Soup and Song Fest

The New Maysville Christian Church will celebrate its second annual Soup and Song Fest on Sunday, Oct. 4 from noon-6 p.m.

The New Maysville Community Church is located at 6817 E. CR 900 North, Roachdale.

Established in 1839, the church is celebrating its 175th anniversary. There will be ham and beans and chili, along with cornbread and all the fixings, as well as desserts and drinks.

This community event will feature live entertainment from Bobbie Lancaster, Kim Renner, Mellisa Claycomb, Clint Pitts and possibly others.

All are welcome for an afternoon of good food and fellowship as organizers try to rekindle the New Maysville Reunion of yesteryear.
