NPMS registration begins for 5K fun run and walk

A 5K Fun Run will be held to benefit North Putnam Middle School on Saturday, Oct. 25 and will include a costume competition, silent auction, chili cook-off and prizes.

The event is open not just for those running or walking, but for those looking to enjoy food, prizes and fun.

Registration, activities and T-shirt pickup begins at 10:15 a.m. with the event starting 11 a.m.

The course will take place on the trails behind NPMS. Children under age 5 are free and welcome to participate but there will not be T-shirts available for them.

The race has a $15 registration fee which includes a t-shirt, race fee, games, prizes and babysitting; all proceeds go to the middle school.

The registration fee and form should be paid in advance and may be sent to school with NPMS students, delivered to the NPMS office or mailed to: NPMS c/o 5K; 8905 N CR 250 E; Roachdale, IN 46172.

Checks should be made out to North Putnam Middle School.
