Rooksberry told Deputy Adam Hull she had slowed her 2011 Honda CRV to make a left turn into the median when she was hit in the right rear of her vehicle by Katheryn E. Shema, 20, Terre Haute.

Dobson advised Deputy Adam Hull that he looked away for a second and when he looked back to the front he didn't have time to stop his 1984 GM before hitting Timothy J. Swain, 34, Avon.

The force of Swain's 2005 Dodge Magnum being rear-ended then caused him to launch forward and hit the rear of a 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by Katie L. Campbell, 25, Terre Haute.

Campbell said she was attempting to make a left turn and had Swain stopped behind her.

Damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.

* At 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, Bryan E. Estrada, 22, Camby, was eastbound on U.S. 36.

Dage advised Helmer that she did not believe that Pitts looked to see if any vehicles were approaching when she backed up.

Pitts was also cited for no insurance/financial responsibility for the vehicle, which belonged to her brother.

Hostetter advised Helmer that a vehicle had slowed down, which resulted in him applying his front brakes "too hard," causing him to lose control of his 2007 AMF XL1200.

The bike then fell over onto its right side and slid along the travel portion of the roadway.

Helmer noted that the driver and the passenger were wearing leather gear, which prevented injuries. The passenger, Cari Holloway, 33, Zionsville, was checked by Operation Life, but signed a medical release.
