Correa told Deputy Stevie Smith that as she crested a hill, she noticed a school bus traveling northbound on County Road 675.

Correa added that the school bus was partially in her lane, which caused her to move her 2010 Mazda CX-7 to the right. Thinking that she had moved over too far, Correa then tried to move back to the left when she lost control of the vehicle and drove into a field, hitting an embankment.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Tamara D. Cross, 45, Bainbridge, was eastbound on Rangeline Road near County Road 100 East, when she briefly took her eyes off the roadway.

Cross advised Lt. Dwight Simmons that when she looked down, her 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier veered off the road, striking a mailbox at 1922 E. Rangeline Rd. before continuing across a driveway entrance and striking a large rock.

No injuries were reported.

Damage was estimated at $1,001-$2,500.
