Area 30 to host Candy 101 program Wednesday morning

The Area 30 Career Center's Culinary Arts class, Putnam County Hospital and Purdue Extension are calling all candy lovers as for a special presentation, Candy 101, on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Area 30, 1 N. Calbert Way.

The event, which is open to the public, will include a presentation on the history of candy as well as a demonstration on peanut butter fudge.

It will run from 9 a.m.-noon in the Area 30 community room at a cost of $5.
