Banner Graphic: What's different about being a senior this year.

Laura Worthington: Senior year you kind of have the most pressure because you are older and more experienced. You are kind of the leader or a big sister to every one on your team. You get put into more responsibility and you'll have to help your team achieve greater goals.

Banner Graphic: What's your favorite thing about basketball?

LW: My favorite thing is mainly just having fun and being with my friends having a blast.

Banner Graphic: Who are your best friends on the team?

LW: I would say Bailee Stevens would be my best friend on the team. She is a nice friend to have.

BG: What can sports teach you about life?

LW: Sports can teach you more about responsibility, leadership and being sportsman-like on and off the field. You can use all of that and put it into your work and how you act at work.

BG: Who inspires you in your life to do well?

LW: That's a harder question. There are a lot of people who inspire me. A few years ago, whenever we had the class of 2013 here, I remember I looked up to a lot of the seniors. I wanted to be just like them and learn how they played and evolve from them. I did a little bit but it's kind of hard because I'm not exactly like them. I have to work hard to achieve what they achieved.

BG: What are your goals after high school?

LW: I plan to major in either nursing or athletic training. I haven't decided yet. I'm either going to go to the University of Indianapolis or Franklin College. If I go to Franklin College I'm probably going to run track and field.

BG: Why do you enjoy nursing?

LW: My grandma was a nurse. Almost everybody in my family is involved with nursing or a health career. So I thought I'd be going there.
