Mill Pond to host Jingle Run

The Mill Pond Health Campus will be hosting the third annual Red Jingle 5K Run and Mutt Strut Saturday, Dec. 6 with registration beginning at 9 a.m. and the run starting at 10.

Registration for the run is $15 in advance or $20 the day of the event. Each participant will receive a T-shirt as well. First- and second-place prizes will also be awarded to those best dressed in holiday spirit for both runner and pet. Those wishing to register are asked to visit Mill Pond at 1014 Mill Pond Lane in Greencastle or call 653-4397 to register.

All ages and breeds are encouraged to participate.

Following the run, lunch will be provided by Mill Pond for all participants and sponsors. Those wishing to display any banners or sign-age are also welcome to in exchange for a donation.

All proceeds from the run will go to the American Red Cross. Mill Pond Health Campus will also be holding a silent auction the day of the event and are asking the community for a donation to the auction or for bingo prizes.

Mill Pond is also looking for T-shirt sponsors. Those who wish to contribute will have the company's name displayed on the back of the shirts along with the company's name in all of Mill Pond's advertisements and promotions for the event.

Companies will also be allowed to have a booth at Mill Pond on the day of the event. Sponsorship is $150 and all proceeds will also go toward the American Red Cross.
