Friends of Extension

At the recent Purdue Extension Putnam County Annual Meeting, Leroy and Linda Blocher were awarded the Friend of Extension Award. The Blochers have contributed to all areas of Extension through serving on the Extension Board, judging fair projects, serving on the Putnam County Fair Board and are especially known for their contributions to the Putnam County Master Gardener program and Harris Hall open class exhibition at the Putnam County Fair. "The Blochers are very devoted to the overall Extension program and we appreciate all they have done to go above and beyond in their service to Putnam County," selection committee chairman Rodger Winger said.
