PCF promotes staff trio to correctional caseworker role

PUTNAMVILLE -- The recent promotion of three correctional officers has been announced by Putnamville Correctional Facility Superintendent Stanley Knight.

Spring Raines, Bryan Pair and Christopher Kosor have all been promoted to the position of correctional caseworkers, effective Nov. 9.

Raines began her career with the Indiana Department of Correction in 2013 as a correctional officer at the Miami Correctional Facility and transferred as an officer to the Putnamville Correctional Facility in September of this year. With a bachelor's degree in sociology from Purdue University, she will focus on the re-integration of offenders into society upon release from, as well as during incarceration.

Christopher Kosor

With five years under his belt as a correctional officer at Putnamville, Pair also has a history as a reserve officer for the Brazil Police Department. He spends his free time raising his three kids.

In January 2014, caseworker Kosor started his corrections career as a correctional officer at Putnamville as well. He graduated from Indiana State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in criminology/criminal justice and plans to use this education to aid in his goal as unit team staff.
