Annual Cloverdale Christmas Parade slated for Saturday

CLOVERDALE -- Featuring a theme of "A Storybook Christmas," the annual Cloverdale Christmas Parade will step off at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 in downtown Cloverdale.

The parade will follow its usual route from Lafayette Street to Robert Weist Avenue to U.S. 231, going south on U.S. 231 to Boone Street and back east to Lafayette.

Civic groups, clubs, churches and individuals are all invited to participate.

Entries will be judged in commercial and non-commercial categories with prizes awarded to the top three units that best exemplify the "A Storybook Christmas" theme.

The Cloverdale Main Street organization has listed an alternate date of Saturday, Dec. 13 should it be necessary due to inclement weather.
