Pipe replacement to close Bainbridge-Roachdale Road

ROACHDALE -- Travelers on Bainbridge-Roachdale Road (CR 250 East) will be forced to take the long way home on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Putnam County Highway Department has announced the closure of the road between County Roads 1100 and 1200 North, beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

Crews will be replacing a collapsed pipe that runs under the road surface.

Ricketts said he hopes to have the work completed and the road reopened by the end of the day Thursday.
