Cougars suffer road loss

The Owen Valley boys' basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting North Putnam Cougars to 39 in the Patriot non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Vermillion for a Western Indiana contest on Friday.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rockville. The Rox come into the contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Rockville prevailed over North Vermillion 62-56.
