BG- How have sports been a big part of your life?

KC- Sports are something that runs in my family, no pun intended. Both of my parents played D-1 athletics in college. Basketball is the one sport that everyone in my family played.

BG- Where did you learn to play basketball?

KC- I've been playing basketball since I could walk. My parents coached my little league teams from Kindergarten through fifth grade.

BG- How have you been a leader this year?

KC- I'm very honored to be the team captain this year. I lead by example for my fellow teammates by always trying my best and doing what is best for the team. I hope to leave a legacy to strive for on the underclassmen like the seniors my freshman year did for me.

BG- What are your favorite memories and awards?

KC- Some of my favorite basketball memories are playing pick-up games with my cousins back or the bus rides with my teammates to away games. Last year I received the WCC Scholar Athlete Award for playing on varsity teams while maintaining a high GPA. Although my favorite awards are from track when I won county champ in pole vault for every year I've participated.

BG- What will you miss about playing sports?

KC- Hopefully I won't have to stop playing sports after high school but I'll definitely miss making such fun memories with my friends.

BG- What are your future plans and goals after high school?

KC- I plan on attending either DePauw University or University of Southern Indiana. I want study biology and then proceed to medical school for an education in plastic surgery.

BG- How will you remember these years of high school?

KC- High school has been the best time of my life so far. I know that when I look back on these years I'll grin from ear to ear remembering all the fun times and goofy things my friends and I did.
