New Eagle Scout

Friday, December 26, 2014
During his recent Court of Honor Ceremony, Brady B. Bundy (left) became the 32nd Eagle Scout in the history of Boys Scout Troop 97. Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank in scouting and fewer than 4 percent reach this rank during their scouting career. Brady is the son of Sonny and Melisa Bundy of Cloverdale. Brady chose to lead other scouts and adults to assist in making a storage barn for Train Up a Child Daycare with Cloverdale United Methodist Church. The storage barn is used for storing outdoor toys for the daycare. Brady expressed his thanks to everyone who attended his ceremony, helped with the donations in funding the mini barn, and those who helped to build the barn. Lowe's in Terre Haute gave a generous discount in buying the materials. Following the ceremony, Brady receives congratulations from Eagle Scout and mentor Rusty Syrus (center) and "Uncle" Bob Hostetter, scoutmaster of Troop 93, Cloverdale. Not pictured is Chris Barr, who was also a mentor.
