Russellville slated to host '80s-themed skating party

Styles and themes from Miami Vice, Alf and Pac Man are slated to converge upon the Russellville Community Center for an '80s-themed skate party on Saturday, Jan. 2 from 2-5p.m.

Cost for the event, including skate rentals, is $3 and people of all ages are invited to enjoy themselves while listening to hits from Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, AC/DC and many more artists of the era.

Participants are also encouraged to dress up as their favorite '80s characters but, costumes are not required.

The not-for-profit Russellville Community Center encourages community members to "create memories and have the most fun you can have for $3" at its Saturday event.

The Russellville Community Center is located 300 N. Harrison St. in Russellville.
