Anna Faye Wagle

Anna Faye Wagle, 72, of San Pierre, formerly of Westville, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014.

She was born Sept. 24, 1942 in Roachdale, to Harvey Lee and Anna Louise (Snowden) Rood and graduated from Bainbridge High School.

Anna had been a longtime employee of Westville Correctional Facility, beginning in housekeeping and moving through the mail room to the copy center, where she retired with 29 years of service.

In 1962 she married Kenneth Wagle, who preceded her in death in 2002. Survivors include their daughters, Pamela Wagle and Deborah Cooper, both of San Pierre; grandchildren Shaun and Ashley Cooper; and great-grandchildren Aiden and Emmalynn Cooper.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffrey Wagle in 1986 and twin brothers Harvey Lee Rood and James David Rood.

Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held Monday from 3-5 p.m. at Wanatah Funeral Chapel, 309 N. Main St., Wanatah, with memorial service beginning at 5 p.m.
