Steven Michael Joyce

Steven Michael Joyce, 60, of Roachdale, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on June 17, 1955 in Indianapolis to the late Joseph M. and Patricia L. (Wehrman) Joyce.

Steven was a 1973 graduate of North Putnam High School.

He then went to work for UPS as a driver for 34 years, until retiring at the age of 52.

Steven enjoyed hiking, fishing, NASCAR, college sports and spending time with his family.

He was a member of the Circle of Honor, and the Teamsters Union.

Steve is survived by his children, Stephanie (Jon) Krouse, Maryland, Thomas Joyce, Danville, Diana Davidson, Florida, Jessica (Alex) Hamlett, Colorado, siblings Patti (Kevin) Hollingsworth, Lebanon, Joseph Joyce, Roachdale, David (Tia) Joyce, Darlington, Michael (Karla) Joyce, Waveland, and Donna Joyce, Bloomington, lll., eight grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews, and his stepfather, John Wehrman, Coatesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale.

Burial will follow at New Maysville Cemetery.

Friends may gather for time of visitation from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in Steven's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
