M'mm M'mm Good Job

The Tzounakais Intermediate School Student Council recently finished its annual Food Drive to benefit the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry. Principal Jon Strube and Assistant Principal Jennifer Rhoades challenged the students and staff to collect 2,000 items, and they responded by collecting 2,490 items. The reward was to see Principal Strube and Mrs. Rhoades parade around the school dressed as a can of tomato soup and the Campbell's Soup chef. Tzouanakis partnered with Mill Pond Health Campus for the project with Mill Pond rewarding the class collecting the most items -- Carmen Cross' class -- with pizza for lunch. The second- and third-place classes -- Julia Stevens' class and Michelle Thomas' class, respectively -- were rewarded with cookies. The Student Council thanks the Tzouanakis families for their support with the Student Council Community Outreach Project.
