Gould Earns CCIW Diver of the Week Honor

TERRE HAUTE, -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Sam Gould (Greencastle, Ind./South Putnam H.S.) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Diver of the Week for the third time this season on Tuesday.

Gould won the one-meter and three-meter diving events at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Invitational on Saturday to help the Fightin' Engineers repeat as the event champions. Gould scored 287.50 points in six three-meter dives and won the one-meter title with 260.30 points as the Fightin' Engineers earned the team title over Franklin, Transylvania, Manchester and Defiance.

The Fightin' Engineers are currently ranked No. 15 nationally in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America national poll for the team's highest ranking in program history.

Rose-Hulman returns to action on Friday night with a trip to Franklin Community High School for a dual matchup against Franklin College.
