DYLAN HAYES of Fillmore recently graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.


Nine students from Putnam County made the fall 2014 dean's list at Ball State University.

Putnam County students include CHAUNCEY BAKER of Cloverdale; KAYLA CASH and TYLER NIELD of Greencastle; SYDNEY HARMON, ALAN SKILLERN and ELLEN WILBORN of Coatesville; GWEN MAZUR and CARA STANLEY of Fillmore; and CHELSEA VAUGHT of Roachdale.


A local student was among the more than 300 who earned Hanover College dean's list honors for the fall 2014 semester.

MEGAN ROBINSON, a senior sociology major, is the daughter of Roland and Melissa Robinson, Roachdale. She is a graduate of North Putnam High School.

Located on 650 acres overlooking the Ohio River in southeastern Indiana, Hanover is a nationally ranked liberal arts institution that has core strengths in the sciences, education and business.


HANK SPENCER of Greencastle was named to the dean's list for the fall 2014 semester at the University of Mount Union.

The University of Mount Union, founded in 1846, is a four-year, private institution grounded in the liberal arts tradition.
