Holiday donations aid 2-Fish Food Pantry

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

To the Editor:

The holidays were made brighter for more than 80 families in the North Putnam School District through very generous donations to the 2-Fish Food Pantry located in Bainbridge.

During the holidays large monetary and food donations were received from the Bainbridge Elementary School, Walmart Distribution Center, the Russellville Cantata Food Drive, the Bainbridge Firemen's Chili Supper and Cookies with Santa, local Deer Hunters, members of the Bainbridge churches (the United Methodist Church and the Christian Church), the Midwest Food Distribution Center and many, many individuals in the community.

The recipients and the volunteer staff of the 2-Fish Food Pantry are most grateful for the special holiday thoughtfulness. It couldn't have been done without all helping.

The 2-Fish Food Pantry (a 501c3 non-profit organization) is open to residents living in the six townships comprising the North Putnam School District, and is open each Saturday 10 a.m-noon.
