Thompson - 100th Birthday

An open house for Kathryn Thompson's 100th birthday is set for 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15 at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Well wishers are encouraged to send a card so Kathryn can receive more than 100 cards for her birthday. They may be mailed to Hickory Creek at Sunset, 1109 S. Indiana St., Greencastle, IN 46135.

Kathryn is a member of Bainbridge United Methodist Church. She worked at Angwell Curtain Factory for 13-1/2 years and at P.R. Mallory's for 17-1/2 years.

She also did volunteer work at the Senior Center in Greencastle for 28 years.

She is the mother of four children, Larry Thompson and wife Karen (both deceased), Dean Thompson and wife Genie, Joel Thompson and wife Ellie and Glenda Nelson and husband Jim.

She also has seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
