Authors' Talk on book 'On Being a Writer' set Wednesday night at PCPL

Tuesday, February 10, 2015

Charity Singleton Craig and Ann Kroeker will discuss their book, "On Being a Writer," and the process of writing in a Authors' Talk Wednesday, Feb. 11 at the Putnam County Public Library.

The free program is set for 6-7:30 p.m. tonight.

Their book acts as a personal coach to explore the writing life the reader already has, and the writing life the reader wishes for, working wisely and strategically to close the gap between the two.

"On Being a Writer," released Oct. 24 by T. S. Poetry Press, is currently available on Amazon, as well as through other major online retailers and Ingram.

Charity Singleton Craig grew up near Greencastle, attended South Putnam High School and graduated from Taylor University as a mass communications major with an emphasis in print media.

After a brief stint in newspaper journalism at the Banner Graphic, she worked in several other industries, all while attempting to live the writing life. Recently, she became a fulltime freelance writer and editor, serving as a content and copy editor for The High Calling, a contributing writer for Tweetspeak Poetry, and a staff writer for Curator Magazine.
