Senior guard Hannah Douglas (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference women's basketball player of the week after leading DePauw to victories over Wittenberg and Kenyon last week.

In Wednesday's overtime win against Wittenberg, Douglas netted her DePauw career-high with 28 points on 12-of-18 shooting, adding three blocks, three rebounds and two steals. Douglas tallied seven of the Tigers' 10 overtime points, including a key three-point play to give DePauw a 57-56 lead with 2:21 left.

Against Kenyon, Douglas poured in 15 points with four steals and two rebounds, helping the #8/9 Tigers move to 22-1 overall and 15-0 in the league. DePauw clinched its fourth NCAC title in as many years with their win over Wittenberg.

On the week, Douglas averaged 21.5 points on 51.5 percent (17-of-33) shooting and added three steals, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per contest. The Butler transfer pushed her collegiate career point total over 1,000 in the Wittenberg victory and she currently has 1,018 total points (485 at Butler, 533 at DePauw).

Douglas and the Tigers close out the regular season Saturday, February 21, when they host Ohio Wesleyan for a 1 p.m. contest.
