'Souper Bowl' Winners

Fourth-grade students from Mrs. Kemp and Mrs. Bookwalter's Cloverdale Elementary classes recently participated in their own version of the Super Bowl. However, this community project challenge had a different goal in mind. Over a two-week period, students collected canned goods, including soups, to participate in the "Souper Bowl" competition. Each class had a goal of collecting at least 100 items. Students kept track of their daily progress on a football field display located outside their classroom. Both classes were able to exceed their goal and more than 200 cans were collected. These items will be donated to the Soul Harvest Church food bank.
