Gimme Shelter

Friday, February 27, 2015
Frigid Indiana weather couldn't chill the beauty of Rolling Stone Covered Bridge or the Floyd Township landscape on a recent morning. Even as two other Putnam County covered bridges have been marred recently by vandals and a traffic accident, Rolling Stone's red timber stands undisturbed against the white backdrop. Anyone wanting to enjoy scenes like this needs to hurry, as a warming trend will set in as the calendar turns to March, reaching close to 50 degrees early next week. (Photo by JARED JERNAGAN)

  • I really miss seeing the covered bridges of Putnam county.
