Chamber Champs

It was a clean sweep for the 3G Bowl team Friday afternoon as it captured not only the team competition in the annual Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce Bowling Bonanza but the two individual titles as well. Chamber President Beth Flint (left) and Executive Director Tammy Johnson (right) present trophies to the 3G Bowl team after it prevailed on its home turf. Team members include (from second left) Tyler Nield, Brittany Friars, bowling lanes owner Michael Friars, June Reed and Austin Alspaugh. Brittany Friars captured women's individual honors for the second straight year, finishing with a 484 series, while Alspaugh claimed the men's individual crown with a 717 series. The 3G Bowl team posted a 2,210 score for the three games with Ruoff Home Mortgage a distant second at 1,587 and North Salem State Bank third with 1,550.
