Donna L. Abrams

Donna L. Abrams, 82, Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Washington, Indiana.

She was born on April 8, 1932 at Quincy, Ind., and was the daughter of the late Frank Smith Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth (Black) Smith.

She was married to Ivan Jessie Abrams on May 4, 1973, and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1995.

Donna was also preceded in death by her children Cindy (Twomey) Denham and Terry Twomey.

She is survived by her children, Jana (Twomey) Birtchman and husband Rick, Kissimmee, Fla. and Gary Twomey and wife Paula, Washington; stepson, Gene Abrams and wife Teri, Spencer; daughter-in-law Amy Twomey, Greenfield; her sister, Fran Walker, Greencastle; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and a member of the former Quincy Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Dunagan and Lillian Ellis, and her brothers, Charles H. Smith, Robert Eugene Smith, Paul Smith and Frank Smith Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 17 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Blakesburg Cemetery at Fincastle.
