GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- After defeating the DePauw women's basketball team on Friday, the Calvin Knights were unable to defend their home court again on Saturday, falling to George Fox, 78-63.

With a trip to the final four (also on Calvin's home court) on the line, both teams sported 30-0 records entering the game. The Bruins (31-0) kept their perfect record intact and return to Grand Rapids next weekend for a national semifinal match-up with Montclair State (30-1).

Following the game, the sectional all-tournament team was named, with DePauw senior Savannah Trees making the cut. Also on the team were Benner and Morris of George Fox, Engelhard and Acre of Calvin and Amber Brown of UT-Dallas.

In the other national semifinal on Friday, March 20, Tufts (30-1) battles Thomas More (31-0).

After taking a 2-0 lead to open the game, Calvin (30-1) never led again. And 8-0 run gave the Bruins a lead they did not relinquish, with the Knights never again getting closer than four points down.

Kayla Engelhard led Calvin with 20 points, followed by Hannah Acre's 12 points.
