Park's Mr. Potato Head event Thursday at PCPL

Youngsters are invited to join the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department Thursday, March 26 as Mr. Potato Head shares his favorite holiday stories and then try your hand at it, too.

The free Mr. Potato Tells His Holiday Story event is set for 5-6:3o p.m. Thursday at the Putnam County Public Library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.

Participants will be able to create a Mr. or Mrs. Potato Head using the department's Potato Head pieces. Tell a story about your creation and then transfer that story to paper with pencils, pens, crayons or paints.

Treats and drinks will be provided.
