Nancy C. Williams passed away after a long battle with cancer in her daughter's home on March 13 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Nancy was born May 14, 1941 in Huntington to her parents Paul and Helen Farthing.

She graduated from Belle Union High School in 1959.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Susan G. Mullins, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; son, Kevin L. Chaney of Hayesville, NC; brothers, Frank Farthing of Connersville, Robert (Jean) Farthing of Indianapolis and Lowell (Diane) Farthing of Stilesville; sisters Phyllis Wright, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Barbara Farthing and Cheryl Wiles, both of Huntington, and Carla Kennington of Indianapolis.

She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Marshall F. Chaney; her husband, Robert "Bob" Williams; brothers Larry Farthing, JD Farthing and Paul Farthing; and granddaughter Misha P. Mullins.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date in Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Nancy's name.
