Civic League searching for chili cook-off competitors

The Greencastle Civic League will host the inaugural "Best of Greencastle" chili competition scheduled for Saturday, April 25.

There is no entry fee for the event slated for 5-7 p.m. on South Indiana Street.

Contestants must provide approximately two gallons of chili and be on site between 4 and 4:30 p.m.

First- and second-place trophies will be awarded based on public tasting/voting.

A prize for most festive table will be awarded by the Civic League. Tables, warming pans, spoons, napkins and tasting cups will be provided by the Civic League.

All individuals, organizations and businesses are encouraged to compete.
