Christian comic David Dean to give free show April 17 at GCC

Christian comedian David Dean will perform a free show Friday, April 17 in Greencastle.

His performance will begin at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30) at Greencastle Christian Church, 620 Primrose Lane.

Dean has been making people laugh for 25 years. His early days of comedy took place at Second City School of Improvisational Comedy along with performing at numerous clubs throughout Chicago.

Dean's latest CD, "Clap For Me" can be heard on Laugh USA, Sirius Satellite Radio, iTunes and Pandora radio.

He and good friend, Craig Gross, co-authored a book designed for parents titled, "Touchy Subjects" which just came out this month on Amazon.

Dean and Betsy, his wife of 26 years, live in Huntington and are the parents of two young adults, Alex and Hannah.

For the past 10 years, the comic has hosted mission trips to the Dominican Republic.

The show is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served following his performance.

No child care will be provided. However, Dean's comedy act is considered family friendly for children over the age of five.
