Kids' Stuff

In celebration of the Week of the Young Child, youngsters in the Headstart Program enjoy pizza and stories Wednesday afternoon, thanks to students in the Area 30 Career Center Culinary Arts Class. Bailey Stierwalt (above), an Eminence junior, helps pass out personal pan pizzas the children created with the Area 30 students' assistance as Chasta Muse, also an Eminence junior, holds the tray. While the pizzas were baking, the Headstart youngsters heard stories from Henry Cloncs, a Cloverdale senior, and Cassidy Frost, a North Putnam senior who discovers the children, like Lilly (standing in back) and others, were perhaps more interested in the pig puppet she holds than the stories.
