Stacks Music Sampler, 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Drop in around 5:30 for an impromptu performance and presentation on some familiar and not-so-familiar pieces of music. Vocal ensembles, string trios, brass quartets, and much more.

Baby Time, 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Sing songs, read stories, play with toys, talk, and laugh with your baby. Caregivers receive a free Starbucks beverage after 10 sessions. Birth through crawlers.

Healthy Aging by Kelly Petrick, Alzheimer's Association, 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Putnam County Public Library will host a program on Healthy Habits for a Healthier You on Weds, May 13th from 1:30 -3 p.m. by returning speaker, Kelly Petrick Litster from the Alzheimer's Association. Her talk will cover developing better habits for a healthier lifestyle. Studies have shown that proper brain and heart health can contribute to the risk reduction of diseases and lead to a longer and healthier life.

Toddler Time, Pre-K Prime Time, and Storytime Brick programs are suspended in May to gear-up for summer reading programming

Computer Class - Advanced Word Processing, 2 to 4 pm

This hands-on class will introduce patrons to some of the more advanced features of typewriter-like word processing software, like Microsoft Word. All classes are for beginners and are free and open to the public but registration is required since space is limited. To register, you can use the 'May Computer Classes' link on the library website at pcpl21.org, call Mike at 765-653-2755 Ext. 118, or call or stop by our circulation or reference desks at the library.
