Numbers Tell a Story

Greencastle High School classes were visited by 20 "ghosts" of students representing the number of youth that die every 15 minutes as a result of drinking and driving. Each student wore white face paint, a shirt that says "I died" and each were not able to speak during the school day. Ashleigh Walden (above from left), Ichiro Mozawa and Taylor Secrest joined their first period class in their ghostly attire. Eli Secrest looked on as the obituary he prepared for himself was read. Bailey Hudson (below) listened as GHS Guidance Assistant Brenda Meyer read her obituary to Daniel Hankee's first period class Thursday morning.
